It is located 3.4 km south of Sigri and is a small isolated wetland (18 acres)
It consists of three streams that converge in a shallow bay with a sandy clay bottom that is largely exposed at low tide.
The vegetation consists of gorse (Juncetalia maritimi), gorse (Juncus acutus and Juncus maritimus) and thyme (Coridothymus capitatus), while its fauna includes frogs (Pelophylax bedriagae) and striped water turtles (Mauremys rivulata).
