The Geopark of Lesvos, as part of the Global Geoparks Network and the European Geoparks Network, has developed a large network of international collaborations with Geoparks from all over the world.

The cooperation concerns the following areas:

• of research
• the protection of the geological heritage
• the exchange of know-how in matters of protection and promotion of fossils and geological monuments
• the development of research works in areas of natural monuments, tourist promotion, development of geotourism and management of Geoparks

At the same time, the collaboration includes the information of the student public and the teachers about the issues of natural monuments and the implementation of educational programs.
