The narthex occupies the west side of the building, without extending to its north and south sides. The three aisles are separated by two rows of six columns, the roof of the central aisle is vaulted, while the side aisles are formed by cross vaults.

In the arches above the columns, the apostles are depicted in breastplates, while above the central arch, Christ as pantocrator has been sculpted. The matroneum presents the architectural peculiarity of having a column at the central point of the exterior. The decoration of the church is a work of 1925 and bears the seal of P. Pergamenelli.
The church houses remarkable portable icons, among which that of the Virgin “Rodon the Amaranton” stands out. The Virgin is depicted as a crowned queen holding Christ dressed as an emperor. It bears the inscription “for the expenses and contribution of the blessed ruffetti of the backalis of Mestegna 1854 July 17. Hand of Mario of Jesime”.
