The windmill of Peramas Geras is built just outside the settlement of Papados of Geras, right in front of the Surlaga tannery.
At the point where it is located, literally on the sea, the gulf of Gera narrows so that the wind is quite strong whether it is north or south. It is an integral part of a set of industrial buildings, chimneys of olive mills, the settlement of Perama, the sea and the olive-covered slopes of the gulf of Gera. The windmill can be included in the monuments of production and trade and dates back to the beginning of the 20th century.
