Tsoukaladelli Tower is located in the settlement of Thermi Lesvos at a distance of approximately 15 km from Mytilini. It is a stone-built building with a square floor plan that is spread over four floors.
It is one of the oldest surviving mansions on the island. It formed the core of a farm and served as a holiday home for its owners. Its tower-like form with a protruding top floor and its fortified character with a wooden ‘’sachnisi’’ (roofed wooden roof overhanging) are already known from the residences of Byzantine landowners and are particularly widespread during post-Byzantine times, a period in which historical conditions imposed the fortified character of the buildings.
Its construction, in which ancient building materials were used, as well as the architectural and morphological elements of the building place its dating in the 18th century.
